Comments | For procedure code 5200, 5300, and 5500, prior to lodging the temporary import declaration (IM 5), an importer is expected to apply to the Commissioner General requesting permission to temporary import goods into the country. The agreed timelines for the goods to remain in the country should not be exceeded. Application for an extension must lodged with the Commissioner General prior to the expiry date. |
