NameTransit Permit from Country A to Country A for Plant / Plant Products
DescriptionThis is a legal document used by importers from one country, to get goods from one area to another through Eswatini because it tends to be a shorter, thus cheaper route to import. An importer then needs an import permit from the receiving country, as well as a phytosanitary certificate.
CommentsThis permit is applicable if an importer is moving goods from one end of the country to the next, for example if an importer in Mpumalanga South Africa wants to move goods to Durban, they would use the Matsamo border to get into Eswatini and exit at the Lavumisa border, out of Eswatini, to get to Durban South Africa. This permit is currently free of charge. Some importers use clearing agents.
