Process Steps

Step 1
|
The applicant makes a permit request, by either visiting the NAMBoard headquarters, or by telephoning or sending email or by Whatsapp(informal application)
|

Step 2
|
The Issuing Officer processes the application, and with all correct issues the Import Permit for Controlled Commodities
|
|
|
Namboard Check if applicant has a transaction history,that shows that the permit is being used |
|
|
If there is no transaction History, Namboard charges a E75 fee |
|
|
Applicant pays charges via EFT or Mobile Money and send Proof of Payment to Namboard |
|
|
Applicant pay Permit renewal Fees via EFT or Mobile Money and send proof of Payment |
|

| Step 3 |
The applicant makes payment on levy or process fees. |
|
| Step 4 |
The applicant collected the permit and may proceed to import the products in accordance to customs formalities and subject to compliance with relevant import requirements |
|
| Step 5 |
A copy of the electronic permit information is retained on the NAMBoard computer system (in addition to copy being held on ASYCUDA).
